LOWER SHOSHONE – The river is a little off color but fishable. Look for heads up on Mother’s Day caddis. Nymph and streamer rigs will also produce.
BIG HORN / WIND – Nymphing has been the most productive method but you can also head hunt with blue winged olives. Perdigons, sow bugs, Ray Charles, baetis and midges.
NORTH FORK – The river is now closed below Newton Creek until July 1st! The river could be off color for the next few days with the warmer temps. Skwalas, March Browns and blue winged olives are hatching. Nymph the slower, deeper runs with stoneflies like rubber legs, 20 Inchers, Mega Princes, Yuk Bugs and TJ Hookers with a smaller jigged soft hackle nymph behind it like a Duracell, Optic Nerve, Hustler or Possie bugger. Dry/dropper has been good in the afternoons as the water warms a touch. Go heavy on your tippet (0x-2x)!
SOUTH FORK – The river could be off color for the next few days with the warmer temps. Skawalas are popping. Toss a size 10-12 stonefly nymph or jigged soft hackle beadhead under a chubby!
CLARK’S FORK – The river could be off color for the next few days with the warmer temps. Look for Skwalas and March Browns hatching. Nymph a stonefly or strip streamers.
GREYBULL / WOOD – The river could be off color for the next few days with the warmer temps. Fishing with stonefly and general beadhead attractor nymphs.

NEWTON LAKES – Toss buggers and leeches on the edges to the cruisers. Chironomids, scuds and balanced leeches under a bobber.
