LOWER SHOSHONE – Flows are 1050 cfs and the river is a little off color but fishable. There are Mother’s Day caddis hatching as well as blue winged olives and still a few midges. Water clarity is better closer to the dam and deteriorates the further downstream you go. Look for heads and fish the edges with a dry/dropper rig or streamers.

BIG HORN / WIND – Flows have been bumped up to 1000 cfs. You can head hunt for risers on blue winged olives but a sowbug and a blue wing nymph or worm under a bobber will also produce.

NORTH FORK – Closed to fishing downstream of Newton Creek until July 1st! Starting to see better trout numbers above the closure. Skwalas, March Browns, grey drakes, blue winged olives, stonefly nymphs, attractor nymphs, soft hackles, eggs and streamers on heavy tippet.

SOUTH FORK – Skwalas are crawling and flying around by Valley School. Chubbies, water walkers and stimulators in size 10-12 have been working well on the surface. Also a few March Browns, grey drakes and blue winged olives popping. Dry/dropper or nymphing with a stonefly or attractor nymphs has been good as well. Streamers have also been catching some good fish.

CLARK’S FORK – Water clarity is better upstream of Paint and Pat O’Hara Creeks closer to the canyon mouth. Grey drakes, blue winged olives, March Browns, stonefly & soft hackle nymphs as well as streamers.

GREYBULL / WOOD – Skwalas, March Browns, grey drakes, blue winged olives, stonefly nymphs and soft hackles.

YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK – Closed to fishing until Memorial Day Weekend 2022!

NEWTON LAKES – Chironomids, scuds and leeches.

LUCE / HOGAN RESERVOIRS – Chironomids, scuds, leeches, ants and beetles.
