LOWER SHOSHONENymph, dry/dropper and streamer rigs are all producing. Chubbies, rubber legs, Duracells, Optic Nerves, pine squirrel leeches, thin mints and rusty trombones.

BIG HORN / WIND – Toss dry/dropper or nymph rigs in the shallower faster riffles. Tricos have trout up in the mornings. Perdigons, sow bugs, worms, RS2’s, Ray Charles, pine squirrel leeches, yuk bugs, thin mints, 9 lb hammers, cowbell craws, yuk dusters and zirdles.

NORTH FORK – Significantly more trout of size downstream of Wapiti now than the rest of the river system as the water drops and the trout migrate back to the reservoir. The takeout at Gibbs Bridge is very muddy as the reservoir has dropped quite a bit. Caddis and PMD’s are out. Toss stonefly nymphs like Pat’s Rubber Legs and 20 Inchers and jigged soft hackles like Duracells and Optic Nerves under a Chubby.

SOUTH FORK – Dry/dropper fishing with a Chubby and rubber legs or jigged attractor nymph like a Duracell or CDC Pheasant Tail below it has been good. Yellow Sallies, caddis, drakes and PMD’s are popping. Stripping streamers has also been consistent.

CLARK’S FORKDry/dropper and streamer rigs are producing. Chubbies, rubber legs, Duracells, Optic Nerves, CDC Pheasant Tails and rusty trombones.

GREYBULL / WOOD – Both are fishing good. Attractor dry flies like Micro Chubbies, stimulators, and Amy’s Ants are working well.

YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK – Green and grey drakes, caddis, PMD’s and rusty spinners on the Yellowstone above the falls. The NE Corner (Lamar, Soda Butte, Slough) streams are seeing hatches of PMD’s, green drakes and caddis. Ants, hoppers and beetles are on the menu as well.

NEWTON LAKES – Getting warm. Damsels, ants, beetles, chironomids, scuds and balanced leeches.

LUCE/HOGAN RESERVOIRS – Getting warm. Damsels, ants, beetles, chironomids, scuds and balanced leeches.
