LOWER SHOSHONE – Dry/dropper and streamer rigs are both producing. Chubbies, hoppers, CDC pheasant tail, jig yellow spots, pine squirrel leeches, jawbreakers, thin mints and rusty trombones.
BIG HORN / WIND – Chubbies, hoppers, perdigons, sow bugs, worms, RS2’s, Ray Charles, pine squirrel leeches, yuk bugs, thin mints, 9 lb hammers, cowbell craws, yuk dusters and zirdles.
NORTH FORK – Not many trout left in the system but you may see a few browns push up out the reservoir in the next few weeks.
SOUTH FORK – Dry/dropper fishing with a chubby or hopper and a jigged CDC attractor nymph like a pheasant tail or prince nymph below it has been good. Trout are also taking hoppers, ants, and bwo’s. Stripping streamers has also been consistent.
CLARK’S FORK – Terrestrials and attractor dry flies up in the forest. Dry/dropper and streamer rigs are your best bet below the canyon mouth.
GREYBULL / WOOD – Dry/droppers, terrestrials and attractor dries.
YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK – Drakes, baetis, and terrestrials on the the NE Corner streams (Lamar, Soda Butte, Slough). Baetis and swinging soft hackles and streamers on the Firehole, Gibbon and Madison.
NEWTON LAKES – Chironomids, scuds, balanced leeches and terrestrials.
LUCE/HOGAN RESERVOIRS – Chironomids, scuds, balanced leeches and terrestrials.
