LOWER SHOSHONE – Flows are around 1300 cfs and there’s around a foot of visibility. Dry/dropper or bobber rigs with beadhead nymphs or streamers on the edges.

BIG HORN / WIND – Flows are around 1900 cfs and the river is still a little off color. Tricos, worms, leeches, crawdads and streamers. Flies to use include: San Juan worms, yuk bugs, thin mints, zirdles, cowbell crawfish, perdigons, sow bugs, chubbies, Duracells, pine squirrel leeches, sparkle minnows, Goldies, Swim Coaches and Jawbreakers.

NORTH FORK – Fishable all the way down to the reservoir. Green drakes, ants, beetles, hoppers and attractors on top. Drop a size 12-16 bead head nymph or stonefly nymph for a dry/dropper rig.

SOUTH FORK – Water clarity is good for its entire length. Green drakes, ants, beetles, hoppers and attractors on top. Drop a size 12-16 bead head nymph or stonefly nymph for a dry/dropper rig.

CLARK’S FORK – Fishable all the way down to the state line. The upper river, as well as Crandall, Sunlight and Dead Indian Creeks have been fishing well. Attractors, ants, beetles, hoppers and size 14-18 bead head nymphs.

GREYBULL / WOOD – Both are clear and fishing well. Attractors, ants, beetles, hoppers and size 14-18 bead head nymphs.

YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK – Upper Yellowstone above the falls is still fishing well, although fishing will be tougher than the first few weeks were after the opener. The NE Corner streams (Lamar, Slough, Soda Butte) are clear after the recent rains. Ants, beetles, hoppers, crickets, and spruce moths. Callibaetis and flying ants on Yellowstone Lake.

NEWTON LAKES – Getting warm so fish early or late in the day. Chironomids, callibaetis, damsels, scuds, leeches and terrestrials.

LUCE/HOGAN RESERVOIRS – Getting warm so fish early or late in the day. Chironomids, callibaetis, damsels, scuds, leeches and terrestrials.

SUNSHINE RESERVOIRS – Chironomids, callibaetis, damsels, scuds, leeches and terrestrials.
