LOWER SHOSHONE – Flows are around 350 cfs and fishing has been good. Trout are looking up for midges and baetis in the heat of the day. Nymphing the riffles and runs and tossing streamers on the banks has been effective as well.

BIG HORN / WIND – Flows are around 1000 cfs and the river has been fishing well. Look for midge and baetis sippers or nymph the seams with sow bugs, midges and worms or toss streamers.

NORTH FORK – Done until ice out in the spring of 2024.

SOUTH FORK – May see a few trout up on midges but tossing nymph rigs or stripping streamers is your best bet.

CLARK’S FORK – There’s less shelf ice down by the hatchery. May see a few fish up on midges but tossing nymph rigs or streamers is your best bet.

YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK – Closed to fishing until Memorial Day weekend 2024.
