LOWER SHOSHONE – Flows are around 360 cfs and fishing has been good. Trout are looking up for midges and baetis. Nymphing the riffles and runs and tossing streamers on the banks has been effective as well.

BIG HORN / WIND – Flows are around 1000 cfs and the river has been fishing well. Look for midge and baetis sippers or nymph the seams with sow bugs, midges and worms or toss streamers.

NORTH FORK – Starting to see some better trout numbers in the river system now down by the reservoir. There’s 2+ feet of clarity and fishing has been decent the last few days. Nymphing stoneflies like rubber legs, 20 Inchers, Two Bit Stones, Mega Princes or halfbacks will produce, as well as soft hackles, Bloody Marys, Copper Johns, Possie Buggers, Prince Nymphs, and Pheasant Tails. Swinging streamers is also a good option. The river should continue to fish well after the cold spell early next week through the closure on April 1st. Enjoy it while you can!

SOUTH FORK – Fishing well in the Valley section. May see a few trout up on midges or blue winged olives but tossing nymph rigs or stripping streamers is your best bet.

CLARK’S FORK – May see a few fish up on midges or blue winged olives but tossing nymph rigs or streamers is your best bet.

GREYBULL / WOOD – Nymphing stoneflies, beadhead nymphs or stripping streamers should produce.

YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK – Closed to fishing until Memorial Day weekend 2024.

NEWTON LAKES – Fishing has been a bit slow. Chironomids, scuds and leeches.

LUCE/HOGAN RESERVOIRS -Fishing has been pretty good recently. Chironomids, scuds and leeches.
